Commit to Compassion

“Under present conditions, there is definitely a growing need for human understanding and a sense of universal responsibility. In order to achieve such ideas, we must generate a good and kind heart, for without this, we can achieve neither universal happiness nor lasting world peace.”
The Dalai Lama, FDCW Patron

We are all global citizens of our planet. Now more than ever, we need to come together and learn how to navigate through the increasing stresses and strains of fast-paced modern lives; how to take better care of ourselves, each other and our planet.

FDCW’s work responds to this urgent need.

As we translate Buddhist philosophy and psychology into modern, accessible terms whilst staying true to the roots – our courses and workshops are open to anyone and everyone as this is human being education.

Our carefully designed courses have positively changed the lives of thousands of people in 23 countries across 6 continents. They are helping people explore their commonality rather than their differences. We bring systems of inner learning and encourage social engagement to help people create a more compassionate, peaceful and sustainable world.

The 16 Guidelines for a Happy Life workshops have such a practical framework that facilitators and participants have gone on to create ‘inspired by’ programmes in fields such as health and social care; education and youth work: helping people in many sectors of society.

We are continually adding, evaluating and developing new tools; further enhancing this great resource. Most recently the 16G app is bringing workshop learning into users daily lives in such an accessible and engaging way.

Our newest course, The a.r.t. of Fulfilment exemplifies our whole approach - How to find Inner Happiness; How to cultivate a Good Heart; and How to develop a Clear Mind.
