The Mindful Lawyer – Ethics and Mindfulness in the Practice of Law

This unique workshop has been accredited by the Law Society for 3.5 hours of Professionalism Credit. This workshop will provide participants with an introduction to Mindfulness Practices for lawyers and will provide all of the mandatory LSUC “Professionalism” CPD requirements for 2017.

In this experiential workshop participants will receive:

  1. A deeper understanding of how the Professional Code of Conduct applies to their practice;

  2. An understanding of their personal motivations that are central to their practice;

  3. Awareness of values needed in order to strengthen practice and navigate ethical dilemmas;

  4. Mindfulness practices and techniques to increase the “mindfulness pause” before taking action;

  5. A copy of the 16 Guidelines Book

This workshop has been accredited by the Law Society for 3.5 hrs of Professionalism CPD credit.
