Online Event with the Council of Europe : Self Awareness as key for intercultural and inter-religious communication

FDCW has been invited to participate in a webinar convened by the Council of Europe. The Council has representatives from those countries who have signed the European Convention for Human Rights

The Council of Europe advocates freedom of expression and of the media, freedom of assembly, equality, and the protection of minorities. It has launched campaigns on issues such as child protection, online hate speech, and the rights of the Roma, Europe's largest minority.


In this webinar we will discuss how self-awareness plays a key part in intercultural and interreligious harmony. Join us to hear from Victoria Coleman, Executive Director of FDCW on how compassion, ethics and wisdom can deepen our self awareness and ways this has been put into action around the world. Virginie Cornet Butcher, FDCW Facilitator, will lead a meditation from the 16 Guidelines program. There will also be presentations from Dr. Kari Flornes of GERFEC and Kassim Mohamed Addan of TUSMO.
