"The Dalai Lama says that it is always possible to be kind, but is it? During this workshop we will consider this and look at ways to bring kindness into every situation. Ven Tsultrim will share why she feels kindness can be practiced in every situation. That there isn’t a single situation where it can’t or shouldn’t be offered. Kindness is always possible and realistic and not naive or weak or impractical. Kindness can be strength."

A rare opportunity to hear Ösel in conversation with colleagues and friends about topics such as: What's the best way to develop a warm heart? What kinds of changes do we need to make in the way we live? and Do we have reasons to be hopeful? Ösel will also share his vision for the Global Tree Initiative and for Maha Space communities. Tenzin Ösel Hita is the recognised reincarnation of Lama Yeshe, the original inspiration behind the work of the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom.

We apologise that for technical reasons there is no recording of the session in English available.

How can we serve each other?  One way we can serve each other is through serving ourselves by practicing Self Compassion and developing Inner Peace.  Being more mindful of our need for self compassionate is key to inner peace and world peace. During this workshop we will explore what Self Compassion means and ways we can practice Self Compassion.  We will explore what we can do when we “catch ourselves in the act” (for example angry thoughts and actions which could become harmful to ourselves or others) which will not only better serve ourselves but also others.  Can you imagine what a wonderful world this would be if we all practiced Self Compassion?
