Unlocking Your Potential organized by Land of Joy- A blended format course from the 28th to the 30th Jan 2022


Unlocking Your Potential is a course inspired by The art of Fulfilment programme. It is designed to explore how conditioning shapes our experience and how this may influence how we show up in our lives. You will learn tools empowering you to reflect more deeply on your potential to find fulfilment and meaning in life..

This course will help you:

  • Explore the lifelong process of conditioning which influences who you are today.

  • Understand that the way you experience and interact with the world through conditioning may support or limit the fulfillment of your potential.

  • Reflect on how you aim to unlock your potential.

This is offered as a blended course. You can choose to attend either in person at Land of Joy (depending on Government Regulations at the time) or to take part online via Zoom.

Course dates and cost:

The retreat will begin at 7 pm on the 28 Jan and finish at 3 pm on the 30th Jan with the following timetable, all times are in according to British Standard Time:

Friday 28 January: 19:00- 20:15

Saturday 29 January: 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00

Sunday 30 January: 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00

Accommodation: Shared and single rooms will be available at Land of Joy. Camping can be an option at certain times of year if you have your own tent but space is very limited. Beds are allocated based on individual or logistical needs.

Course facilitator: The course will be lead by Wendy Ridley

Wendy has 40 years experience working in education – as a teacher, university lecturer, education department advisor and consultant specialising in religious education and philosophical enquiry. This has provided her with skills and passion to develop, deliver and oversee training programmes. Wendy has been involved in the development of FDCW as a Board member since 2004 and as a Senior 16G Facilitator. She has worked in 5 very different Buddhist centres and was the director of Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds for over 7 years
